This project was a fairly large guest bathroom that was extremely plain.

Because the bathroom was spacious I chose a darker color that was bold but not confining. After choosing the wall color I began to accessorize and bring in items and colors that ...»
complimented the walls. I wanted a shower curtain that was bold and fun yet tied into the wall color without detracting from it...I also had to have one piece that didnt match anything else in the room and made it totally "pop" that piece was a bright orange vase. This bathroom had no place for storage since it was a guest bathroom. So,I took a mahogany colored magazine/book rack and used it to house toiletries and other items that are bathroom essentials. This bathroom is now a welcoming place where any house guest will feel comfortable.

  • completely Black bathroom..walls, moulding, trim, ceiling
  • Black shower curtain..this is a nice spacious bathroom approx 10 x10..
  • This bathroom was a nice size but the black paint made it feel like a cave
  • Updated paint and bright accessories transform the space into a beautiful bright room.
  • The owner loved Crimson Red--so I used that as my inspiration color to brighten and accent the room 1
  • The extra long shower curtain showcased the high ceilings. The miror over the toilet added depth.
  • A few black and white pictures add life and make the wall space visually interesting.

This was a bland living room that needed a splash of color to make it interesting.

I created two colorful fabric panels for the wall above the couch to add visual interest to the bare wall. The panels consist of fabric attached to canvas...very easy to make. Let me know what you think. TMW

Does anyone live in a high rise a condo with a small patio?

How have you enhanced your space? Did you have any issues with wind on the balcony? These photos are of a high rise condo patio in Buckhead which I transformed into a welcoming space ...»
that the homeowners love!. My goal was to bring wamth and color into the space while keeping it open and airy with the outdoor curtains. I used the existing patio furniture and added beautiful decorative outdoor pillows to bring brighten up this dreary space. Planters and terracotta wall decor were placed around the perimeter of the patio. An outdoor rug and fire pit brought the space together while staying true to the outdoor theme by adding a cozy factor that makes the space inviting and enjoyable. TMW

This photo is a slate wall that I thought would be a great feature in a 1950's brick ranch.

The kitchen was challenged with limited space but had a classic feature of a window over the kitchen sink which provided tons of natural light to showcase the slate wall. This wall was ...»
blank so it served as the perfect canvas! I decided to spruce it up and give this area a decorative focal point and some much needed 'pizazz'! The granite countertops in this kitchen are a very unique pattern, i made sure that the tones did not clash with the wall and the colors/textures 'relate' to each other even though they dont 'match' one another. This project took approximately 5 days.
