About Me:

Love flowers, but miss the rich black soil of Northern Illinois! Still trying to get used to Florid sand! and watering, watering, watering... would love to grow veggies, but squirrels are a huge problem... and... they eat most of the bird seed...

Favorite area of home improvement:

potted flowers and watering needs... for flowers, bulbs and veggies... not too successful, last year.... something gets on them and eats big holes, overnight, often disconnecting the peppers, eggplant, toms, from the plant... squirrels, armadillos, and caterpillars, make it hardly worthwhile... cheaper to buy at farmers markets... but.. want to succeed growing them, at home. how to mix a good potting soil, without going broke....
