What that device does is fool the thermostat into thinking the room is warmer then it really ...»
    is.

The thermostat cannot really feel the real temp in the room being on a wall accurately . By the time the thermostat really felt the room temp that you were asking for on the dial, it would have overheated the room.

So this little built in heater on the anticipater, anticipates the room temp as it begins to feel the heat being supplied from the heating source and gives it that little artificial heat it needs to turn off when the room reaches the temp set on the dial. This helps the thermostat prevent large temperature swings when its working.

a solution of ordinary household bleach & water may prove effective start at maybe a 50/50 mix ...»
& adjust according to results. also you might try (rid- o-rust) a solution used in underground sprinkler systems to prevent rust stains charles w.

When is gets cold out heat pumps may have to rely on the backup heating strips. When hell ...»
freezes over, geothermal will have to rely on the backup heating strips. What's nice about geothermal is that the system's performance is not affected by the weather conditions of the exterior.
