How to Keep Cats Out of the Plant Beds

Trying to find a successful way to keep cats from using your plant beds and gardens as a litter box can be quite frustrating. I've been in the same boat, but I didn't want to use anything that would harm the cats. I found a solution that has been successful!

Kitchen Table Refinishing

It was time to refinish the kitchen table.I used an orbital sander with 80-grit to remove the old finish/stains/glitter/marker/glue, then 120-grit to smooth it. I stained with one coat of ...»
Minwax Golden Oak, and put on 3 coats of Minwax water-based polyurethane, sanding with 220-grit in-between coats of poly. The finish would have been more durable if I had used regular oil-based polyurethane, but I wanted low-odor and fast drying, due to the fact that I was doing it indoors, and have cats and young children..
