Kitchen Remodel

We are currently doing a full home remodel with a contractor & this is the Kitchen. We are changing the cabinets (keeping the white color) putting in Granite counter tops, new stone/tile ...»
back splash, paint, new appliances, lighting, crown molding, and windows. The existing hardwood floors will be refinished (throughout the house)

Gardening: I have this ivy type weed that is killing my scrubs.

It has thorns and has taken over. Any ideas of how to get rid of it without pulling up each individual stem.

    Keep in mind that you will have to pull them up anyway after they die. It helps to cut vines out in sections. They are much easier to handle. Start at one end, then work your way back to the root. Wear some gloves.
