  • I took three old chairs that I found in an alley and pieced them together to make a super unique curvy bench. I used outdoor fabric so that it could be used inside or out.

Three found chairs made into a curvy bench!

I found these three chairs in an alley. I have been hunting three chairs for just exactly this project. These were just exactly what the Dr. ordered for putting this project into action. The arms and legs had to have a little adjustment...but I'm super happy...can't wait to find three more! http://www.dejavuedesigns.com/triple-sitter-... #Bestof2012 ...»

My husband and I built this out of left over deck railing. We had four equal peices of deck railing left over, so first we made brace boards for the corners out of some leftover 2x4's, inserted plywood in between the deck railing and the corner braces, then made the top with 1x6 deck cedar deck board. I also lined it with waterproof fabric on the inside, with no bottom there was no need to do the bottom. I plan to rremove the magnolia I have in the center and replace it with a Dwarf ...»

Now here is a cool project that my friend Katie Cooper did.

This was an old cinder-block building that was used for storage. She added wood at the top and the gingerbread trim, put a french door from Habitat for Humanity. Put a $10 fan inside & made it her art studio.
