How can I Fix up this piece of furniture?

We've had this cubbie unit (bought at target 5 years ago) in my daughters room and the top started peeling away some time ago. I'm pretty sure it started after water spilled and it wasn't ...»
wiped up right away. I'd really like to fix it up and have no clue how! There are so many amazing furniture revivals on Hometalk so I hope all you revival experts can give me some direction and advice! I'm not looking to do a major revival, I'm more interested in fixing the peeling top and shelves. Thanks

Wanted to share this beautiful ginger lily with you.

It is Hedychium coronarium and came from Tony Avent's Plant Delights Nursery near Raleigh. This gorgeous lily started blooming over the weekend. It not only blooms in the fall, but its fragrance is like honey suckle. With the frangrant osmanthus and plants like this filling the landscape with wonderful scents in our area, I'm trying to spend as extra amount of time out of doors.

I know this flower name as butterfly, It belongs to the Ginger family is not an Irisits ...»
perfume is amazing no other flower has it, it is original from Hawaii I found out if it has space it will take over it multiplies easily I saw it once at home depot and it cost $ 49 + but like I said you can give it away since it spreads beyond control. It is Cuba's national flower I believe great in warm climate, don't know if its good for cold ones.

  • Living room? 1

We just recently bought a new couch and chair and I have done a little redecorating in our living room.

The coffee table and end table are from our old set. I really want to do something different with them, but not sure what direction to go. Stain them darker, paint them, leave them alone??? Does anyone have any suggestions??

you could buy glass tables or a darker matching color tables. If you can not buy new ones then ...»
paint those darker to match the bottom of your sofa, also can use a larger lamp more modern need bigger art pieces better not to fill with small art.

Cleaning & Organization: SOS! Need help with a very small cottage

I rent a small 1950's cottage. We have very little storage and 2 closets. Very small rooms and no matter what I try everything looks cluttered. My house is very primitive country.
