ANTS? Easy, Safe Solution!

An exterminator told my friend that when you begin to see ants, they are the scouts. Stop these and you won't have ants. My son discovered that if you spray them with Windex (or any other glass cleaner), they are exterminated. Keep after it for a while and you won't have ants. We have used this for years. 2 days ago our humming bird feeder leaked onto the concrete front porch...the liquid got down in the crack between brick and concrete so there was not way to flush it out. Ants ...»
appeared quickly, I sprayed them with Windex. Watched through the day and kept spraying them. Now ant free! Safe for kids, pets and environment! It is worth a try before you spend hundreds.

  • Paint your ceiling first, wrapping the corner. Take your ubiquitous 5-in-1's back edge and gently score a mark.

8
  • Just use the corner as the naturally flowing guide.
  • Using a 3 inch brush loaded with paint, just cover the line. 3
  • Viola, this little trick will make even a coffee lover's line look good.

  • The Roman Shades were easy to make but time consuming, I'm very happy with how they turned out. 2
  • I opted to add a sink skirt rather than putting the cabinet doors back up. It added a lot to the Farmhouse feel.

Kitchen Makeover

We moved into a double wide mobile home and I was determined to transform it to give it a Farmhouse feel, not an easy task. I used the existing cabinets and painted them out with Behr ...»
Creamy in semigloss. The flooring is click and lock from Home Depot. I love the new look now and I feel I achieved my Farmhouse feel. I made the Roman shades myself so I saved a ton of money with that part of the makeover. You can see more of this makeover at http://magazineyourhome.blogspot.com/2013/01...

Quilling as Wall Art

Most folks think of the paper craft of quilling as something that is just for cards or scrapbooking. I re-created Van Gogh's Starry Night using paper quills. Finished piece is 19" x 26". Wall art for just pennies.
