Picture of Family & Love in a Jar

This project got done before I even thought to take pictures, that's how quick and easy it is. Love how it turned out!
For my girlfriends birthday, I wanted to make something special. I had this jar that once had a candle in it. I placed a picture inside, both a front one and a back one, then poured in Vegetable oil, and put the top on. Also added a little twine to the top. That's IT!! The picture I printed out from a Facebook picture, and you can do it either in color (as seen here) or black and white.
My friends family is Scottish, so I wanted to embellish with the word "Hens" as it is a Scottish term of "endearment" for women, and these are all the ladies in her family. Just used stickers to put on the word. Isn't it cool! Love you Lesley!

Love this idea. Does the colors dissolve from the vegetable oil?

Thanks! They are not suppose to, the project says to use Veg. Oil Only to keep your pics lasting. Also can use just one picture and put towards back for another look.
