Rustic Fall Mantel

Fall is finally in the air and we are so excited! This weekend the temperature got in the 50's, which we just love. With the weather getting cooler, it definitely helps to inspire us more with our Fall decor.
I am so lucky with this new house because we have 4 fireplaces. Now, not all of them work, but there is just something about a fireplace that makes a home cozy to me. And this one has to be my favorite one because of this amazing cast iron screen with the adorable deer. Such a beautiful piece in this home that I absolutely love.

And we are excited to share not only our rustic fall mantel with you today, but we have also teamed up with some of our blogging friends to give you even more inspiration.

I knew I wanted the focus of the mantel to be this painting of Christina's World by Andrew Wyeth, which is one of my favorites. I love the field and farmhouse and thought it would be perfect to use for Fall. I decided to place it in this rustic box that I got at Goodwill months ago for a great deal.
I of course had to incorporate one of my favorite natural decor items...cotton.
I also purchased bags of these pumpkins for about a dollar each, which you can't beat! I loved the yellow and red orange pumpkins and thought they'd go great on the mantel for pops of color. If you follow us on instagram, you may remember that I also found this gourd at my neighborhood garden center for a steal. How lucky am I that it matches my decor?
