Dorm Room Design
This was such a fun project! My daughter and I collaborated using both of our style ideas to create a space that is beautiful and functional! She's the favorite dorm room on her floor!
My daughters finished dorm room!
We found great bedding at Bed, Bath and Beyond and found most of our decor from Kohl's. We mixed the new with some pieces she already had.
It took 2 cars full to get it all there...

Her desk area after! The letters and branches have batteries and timers. We added a vintage looking clock and desk lamp and hung her small fedora collection on hooks to double as storage and decor!!
The vintage alternative to a bulletin board. We added branches to the sides for an interesting design element. It came with great wooden clothes pins to hang art and photos. My daughter had the awesome idea to use a roll of old film as a decor element! (She is a fine arts drawing, painting and photography major)
Scrap book paper added to the drawers we put under her bed to give them a vintage look and hide what's inside!
Simple girlie jewelry trees, some letters and a wrought iron lamp on the dresser beside her bed.
We used a charcoal and white chevron rug to warm the space and charcoal flame retardant curtains. More fedoras on this wall....along with a simple black and white Paris piece of artwork over her bed.
