Candy Corn Luminarias

By now, you know that I love easy pops of color in my decor and crafting. I'm a big fan of candy corn (traditional candy corn--not all the new flavors!) and thought it would be fun to make one of my yarn-wrapped mason jars in honor of my favorite fall candy.
I used the giant gallon mason jars for this. I already had a couple, but you can get them at JoAnn's. Other containers would work, too, obviously. I chose some inexpensive white, yellow, and orange yarn, grabbed some decoupage and a brush, and was ready to go.
I started at the bottom with the yellow. Paint some decoupage onto the jar and start wrapping.
Follow with the orange and white.
Since I wanted these on my porch, I wanted to make sure they didn't get blown away by our crazy wind. I filled the jars with sand. I'm going to put a battery operated candle in them for trick or treat.
These are super easy to make and add an extra element of fun to my fall porch, while being an easy transition to Halloween.
