window crank removal

I took out all of the screws on my Anderson crank window and want to remove the base but it will not come off. Any suggestions?

The ones I have worked on a set in a full mortise, and the "x" bracing needs to be pulled. Can you post some detailed pics?

Can you take a photo of what it looks like to the point that you have it. The crank has normally four screws. two you see and two that are hidden under the trim. Then you need to release the arm from the window. There should be a little clip on the end of the arm that removes it from the window part. Once that is done, it should come out easily. But if you did that, take a photo of where you are and will help you a bit more.
