Vintage Waterfall Dresser Makeover

This vintage waterfall dresser was listed for free on Craigslist. It had been abandoned by a previous homeowner, and as you can see, needed some love. That's where I stepped in.
I removed all the hardware and gave it a good cleaning. The veneer was in bad shape, but I saved what I could and removed the rest. I sanded the entire piece, stained the top and the drawer with the awesome chevron veneer, and painted the rest a custom charcoal gray.
I sealed the entire piece with a topcoat, replaced the hardware, and this piece was done. No lack of love now.
The wood veneer on these old waterfall dressers is so pretty. And how about that original hardware? It's amazing what a little attention can do.
