Fall Mantel - Fall Ideas Tour
I love when a group of bloggers get together and share posts from their home based around a theme. Today, we are starting the "fallideastour and kicking it off with fall mantels. For my fall mantel, I shopped my home. I grab anything and everything that catch my eye and pile it on the dining room table.
Then, I start putting our "faux" mantel together. For the fall sign, I used a broken table top.
Owls and old books scream fall to me so they made it on the mantel. I have had the big plastic leaves for years.
The antlers were some of my favorite finds at yard sales this past summer.
I used an old window and some burlap window to make a "fall picture" for the mantel. It is so much fun shopping your home to decorate. You rediscover things that may be getting lost in other areas of your home and you save tons of money in the process! My kind of decorating!
