Painted Cutting Boards

These painted cutting boards were so fun to make and I love how they add a fun pop of color onto an ordinary cutting board.
I had so much fun making these for a sweet friend and despite being painted they are still safe to use.
Just a few simple items is all it takes to make these adorable cutting boards with a subtle pop of color.
You will begin by simply painting the edges of your cutting boards with your acrylic paint. I was careful to not paint onto the top surface of the cutting boards - I still wanted them to be usable. Also I painted the inside thumb hole as well. I used two coats of acrylic paint and some shellac to seal. For detailed instructions - please click the link to get started.
