King Size Solid Oak Crown Molding Shelf Vintage Door Headboard


One of the requests by our Customer was to make the headboard 65" tall so the decorative European pillows would not hide the headboard when the bed was made. We needed to add a slight extension to the bottom to make this happen. We carefully removed a few layers of paint as well added the additional distressed feel around the inside bore of each of the 5 panels. Vintage Headboards has been making these

    Does the headboard attach to the bed frame or attach to the wall?

      The headboard actually attaches to a standard metal bed frame with hardware we provide - no pre-drilling necessary. We provide additional hardware to anchor the headboards (we make that have crown molding shelves) to the wall. This is not necessary if you are not planning on putting decorations on the shelf.
