I found this Alum sheet while doing a project at Home Depot and turn it into these
Outdoor or indoor solar globe lamp.
Outdoor or indoor solar globe lamp.
You need: Alum sheet 12x24 or any size you want
Garden globe: I had this one in the garden but the bottom was broken so use the top of a plastic container to create the bottom.
Wire cutter or aviation snips( aviation snips is easier)
A big tin can (just to use as a model)
Solid alum sheet to cut for the bottom of the can (or you can cut the top of a coffe tin can)
All purpose adhesive sealant(I intend to use mine outdoor )
Solar light( you can use Christmas light but I use a corded light because I already have them and the solar panel is detachable)

cut a circle to the desired size(I use the same folders can to mark the Circe then use the Aviation snip to cut it.
Zip tie the alum sheet first to form the canister then using the adhesive sealant, glue the circle to the bottom of the alum sheet, leaving one inch for the canister to sit. Let it dry for 30 minutes.
Leave one inch at the bottom

Add your lights inside your globe.(I decided to decorate mine using my Cricut with fern as the globe was just clear) you can do that added step if wanted but not necessary.
