My boring answer: I had the original label on the top of the board. I modpodged the top and I use it as an extra work surface in my craft room. I line with wax paper and use it as a drying table for projects, cut fabric on it, etc. When I'm done, I fold it up and it looks great in the corner.

I have an old ironing board that is quite narrow and not as long as the ones today. I use it as an extra buffet table when I have family and friends over for a meal. It is handy and just folds up in a corner when I don't need it. A coffee table would be a great idea though!

It will depend on the shape of the board, however maybe turn it horizontally and put brackets on and use it to hang odds and ends on it.There are a lot of ideas on pintrest.

If your room is large enough, paint it and mount the board part as a shelf. If it is really old and has the holes in the main section ( or drill holes), hang vertically and use peg board hooks to display or hand stuff on

I removed the legs then simply cut off the tapered end and divided this in two to form the lower support legs. Then I sanded everything and glued and screwed the legs to the underside of the remaining wood and painted in varnish to create a lovely looking shelf which I hung up in my kitchen for my cook books.

Cut round holes so you can drop in plant pots. For outdoor use coat with marine varnish. Or paint a joyful color.

Cut in half lengthwise and mount one above the other for shelves. Or install vertically with shelves between for books, etc. Use for a picnic table, a console table, a desk... I used mine all the time.

I have one sitting ( leaning) against the wall in my utility room and a old laundry basket beside it. I've also seen snowmen painted on them. My sister had hers sitting in front of a window with plants on it.
