I wrapped a dollar store grapevine wreath with a dollar store white feather boa. I can add bunny ears and a nose for easter, jack o lantern face for Halloween,pine cones and a burlap bow for Christmas. All the same base.

Every year at Christmas time I purchase a plain wood or wicker circle from the dollar store, then I go for a walk in the woods with my garden cutters and cut pieces from all different kinds of cedar trees, boxwood, pine tree branches, fir free branches etc. I then randomly push the branches or weave parts of the stems into the circle until its all covered. I then add dollar store ribbon, tree decor etc and it looks amazing! And very cheap lol

Go to a field or woods and collect leaves, sticks, acorns, grape vine, whatever appeals to you .... for free.  Hot glue your collection to a wreath shape from the dollar store.  Have fun!

Check out the DAV, Goodwill or other thrift stores in your area. You can usually find donated wreaths of various types for $3 or even less. They also have flowers and other ornamentation to remake to your style or holiday for very little. I have done this for many years.

A suggestion may be to find some woods and search for pine cones and pieces of pine branches. They are found literally everywhere and are free for the taking

The sky's the limit for wreaths! You could use fabric, pine cones, etc. Start with a ring of cardboard or a wire ring or wreath bases at craft stores or thrift stores. Tie strips of fabric to the wire ring. Poke flowers into the hay wreaths, hot glue other items. I collect pine cones and sticks too as well as feathers that birds have dropped. Just go for it!

This is one of the easiest and cheapest wreathes I've made. It's a bit time consuming, a good TV watching effort. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTDayUA9Gtg&ab_channel=thebestcrafters You can use the same idea with 1' to 3' x 6' strips of fabric, or yarn that's been wrapped around a piece of 6' cardboard to make loops. Tie the yarn loops together with a smaller piece of yarn that you can use to tie the loops onto the circle. When making the hanger into a circle you can do it more quickly by stretching the hanger around a bucket or popcorn can. And if you tie the ornaments instead of gluing them, you can change the decorations to match the season.

I have a small forested area by my house where neighbors (and us )walk our dogs and it's the perfect place to gather supplies for this style of a wreath. First. Do you have a glue gun? Do you have some of the basics pins, glue sticks, and such. It's easy for someone to say go out to the parks and forage, if you are a city dweller thats not gonna happen. give up some details and crafters will tell you how to get it done... We're not a stingy bunch, we share the goodness. I can get a wreath done for 12.00 that will knock anybodies socks off. Useing what's at my disposal. Hit me back with more info and I'm positive you can do a GREAT holiday wreath!

It's very easy April Pinto! You have a comp; obviously. Find an inspiration wreath right here on this site, & try to duplicate it! You'll find that you always add your own flair. Go to your local thrift store, or Goodwill. Find an old, used, discarded wreath, that needs a 2nd. chance. Because YOU'RE going to make it beautiful! Pick out similar flowers, sprays, ribbon, at the dollar $tore, (pinecones, acorns, twigs are free). Now get out your trusty glue gun! If you get too far off track, go back to your inspiration pic. I know you can do it! I make ALL of mine! Add me as a friend & post me a pic when you finish your 1st. masterpiece.

if you have fabric you can cut them into strips and tie them on a wreath ( which can be made out of metal coat hanger , or dollar store pool float sticks)

This cost about $10 to make.  I had some old ornaments and a glue gun. I did buy the styrofoam wreath and rope tinsel.

Basic wreaths aplenty at the recyle store for $2 or $3. I purchase pretty faux foliage and flowers at the Dollar Tree for a buck a bush. Use an OLD pair of scissors or wire cutter to cut the foliage stems from the main trunk of the bush. Arrange around the salvation army wreath form after removing previous decor. Glue gun (sometimes you can get one at the 99 cent store or for $5.00 at Michaels) also check on eBay. Glue the foliage in your desired pattern using the glue gun. Mine take me about 30 minutes start to finish. for the holidays I also pickup 4-6 sparkly ornaments at Dollar Tree and a spool of pretty ribbon, weave around in and under foliage and tack with glue gun. both Dollar Tree and the 99 cent store have bead garlands for a dollar a strand. Sometimes I add these in for extra holiday sparkle. My last wreath was about 16 inches across after decorating and cost me less than $12.00 total. I change my door wreath for every season. Store your completed wreath in a plastic trash bag with handle ties over any coat hanger and hang in the garage or a closet to keep the foliage/flowers clean for the next time.
