DIY Desk Calendar

I wanted a personalized calendar for my office, and since it was too late in the year to find a cute one, for a good price, I decided to make my own!
I am obviously not a graphic designer, but I know my way around Picmonkey so I started there, selecting a 4x6 canvas and lining up the days of the week with the days of the month. What was a challenge at first, eventually fell into a habitual swing. I personalized each month with a different graphic at the top like above, June being our wedding month.
After I had all 12 designed I printed them on cardstock and cut them out.
I found a gorgeous piece of birch in my Nanny's wood room, and haggled my way into a deal for it! I cut it into coins, needing only one for this project but cutting a few more, just in case I decided to make more.
After the coins were cut I used a hand saw to cut a slit in the top, about halfway through to hold up the cards.
The finished project for October!
I am so happy with my cute little calendar! We're coming up to the end of the year so I challenge you to think up some designs and get started. I'd love to see your spin on things!
