Pinecone Christmas Star
All you need is pinecones, a glue gun, wire, wire cutter & nail polish. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil... bake them for 25 minutes.
Connect pinecones end-to-end with wire and form the shape of a star. To make it stronger glue every connection.
Then take another pinecone and cut it into sections and paint each with nail polish to make them look like poinsettias.
Glue your "flowers" to the star.

I love to give my parents fire starters and I was looking at this and thinking I could make it as a Christmas decoration and tell them that after Christmas it’s a fire starter so they don’t have to store it until next year.
