Looking to a vintage look to your fall decor this year? Come see what Robin from Redo It Yourself Inspirations has created with our new limited edition colors Fireside and Eggnog, Graphite glaze, and some Image Transfer Medium!
This vintage flea market find is a sweet treasure! It's a Borden's Milk Can.

A little banged up and rusty, but it's still a great subject for a makeover. I sanded it to smooth out some of the rusty dimples and bubbles.

I painted the entire can using "Eggnog" All-In-One Decor Paint.

Then painted the manufacturer's embossed lettering on the can with "Fireside" All-In-One Decor Paint.

After choosing a Jersey Cow print in reverse (mirror image) I applied it with "Image Transfer Medium".

When it dried, gently rubbed off the paper with a damp cloth, leaving the image in a distressed state. It was very easy to use.
Using Graphite Furniture Glaze, I dry brushed over many areas of the can. Then added some smudging with a cloth to add the glaze into the dents and crevices.
When finished, I topped the entire can with natural wax by rubbing it into the paint with a cloth.
And, the milk can is perfect for some fall decor this season.
