Update Those Dull Notebooks Into Something Beautiful!

Who knew it was so simple to give your dull notebooks some major personality? I recently found the easiest marbling technique and now I just can not stop!
Shaving cream marbleization is my newest love. I have been marbling everything in sight since discovering it. Unlike marbling with nail polish, this is easy to clean and doesn't have the strong nail polish odor while doing it.
The marbling process takes only a few moments and is so fun, too!

Set your paper aside to dry. I think I allowed an hour for complete dry time.
The end result is just lovely! And the plus side of this DIY is that you can customize any colors you want to marble with AND you can make any pattern, too. It's a win win from every side.

My sister and her granddaughters used to do this. After the pages were dry you can draw with a black crayon and make beautiful pictures. The grandkids loved it. Also, you can use it for wrapping paper for small pkgs if you use 8 X 11 paper..

We did this last spring for Easter in the preschool classroom that I was a teacher's assistant for. I turned out great and was super simple to do with 20 4 year olds. We used tempura paint, because food color would have definitely end up on their clothes and at least the paint would wash out. The kids had a blast doing it.
