Counterstools before and after

Several years ago we were given three counterstools. I changed the fabric on the chair pads a few times, but left the wood tone as is. I finally decided that they needed a "new" look so I sanded them down, applied an undercoat of gold paint, than applied sage green paint. I than roughed them up to let the gold come through in some areas and to also give them a shabby chic look. The new fabric is my favorite of all that I have used in the past and is also the most vibrant.
