360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on Nov 27, 2011They are attracted to cider vinegar, if you put a small amount in a jar they they go to it and drown. Do you store your fruits or vegetables where they might be able to feed on the decay process? Do you have all your trash bins covered? Check under and behind your appliances for food sources for them, candy or food peels that have gone unoticed?Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on Nov 28, 2011Could be drain flies. You need to clean your drain in your kitchen sink. Do so by using bottle brush down the drain pipe. pour bleach full strength down also will help. They live on the scum that is on the side of the pipe and oftentimes difficult to remove. You see these a lot in bathroom sinks where hair and toothpaste gets adhered to on the side of the drain and over flow. A good cleaning should do the trick. In really bad cases you may need to remove the down pipe leading from the sink to the trap. Also cleaning the trap out helps as well.Helpful Reply
