Having a Bar Cart that you can easily move from outdoors to indoors or from room to room is like having fun on wheels!
A sophisticated, practical Bar Cart doesn’t have to leave a dent in your wallet. It only requires the right essentials! There’s an abundance of Bar Carts on the market, but if you’re pressed for time or on a budget, you can create your own DIY Bar Cart at a fraction of the cost!
For this Mimosa Bar Cart I’m using an inexpensive utility cart that I purchased from Target at a closeout price of only $8.
DIY MIMOSA BAR

Inexpensive Utility Cart w/ wheels

Simply Brand Beverages or Dole

Fresh Fruit and Mint and/or Rosemary

Ice Bucket

Champagne Flutes

Bubbly Champagne or Prosecco

Mimosa Bar Sign (optional)

Bottled Water

Ice

Cocktail shaker

Strainer

Bowls for fruit
Crucial Ingredient – – – Champagne < < < Well let me backtrack > > > champagne is the traditional ingredient for mimosas, but you can also use a fabulous Prosecco. Provide your guests with a selection of juices to accommodate their taste and permit them to become a mixologist in their own right. Carafes can get a bit pricey, especially when you’re doing things buffet-style, so I suggest using the Simply Brand Beverages or Dole (remove labels) because their packaging is designed to look like carafes.

Champagne Flutes can be purchased at a relatively low cost. Did you know Walmart has Libbey Champagne Flutes for only .96 each?

Presentation is everything and key to turning a utility cart into a DIY Bar Cart. Display a variety of fresh fruit. Use a Mint or Rosemary plant for an attractive addition to your DIY Bar Cart that guest can actually snip from to add an aromatic garnish to the beverage.

Don’t forget Water!! Because alcohol is a diuretic, you’ll want to be sure to equip your DIY Bar Cart with plenty of hydration as needed.
Pour up & Let the Party begin!!
