Looking for something a little different for your pumpkin this Halloween!? Try this out!
Prepare the crayons
You can use new crayons or if you have kids you can raid their crayon stash!
Supplies are ready!
Using a white glue or a crazy glue (I don't have kids so I opted to go the crazy glue route) glue the crayons around the top of your pumpkin to hold them into place
Glue on the crayons
Working around the top of the pumpkin stick the crayons into place with a small dot of glue to hold them in place while they're being melted!
Rainbow pumpkin!
You can chose whatever colours you like... all reds and your pumpkin would look like it was oozing blood!
Melt
Using a hairdryer or a heat gun slowly melt the crayons... BE SURE TO PUT DOWN SOME PAPER to protect your work surface because you may se some flying crayon wax!
I'm melting!... MELTING!
Melt around the pumpkin until you are happy with the amount of melt!

There you have it!...

I do this and make EU drip candles ... I put in a thin candle in a holder then drip The crayons over it for colour with a match or lighter .. I have more control over the colour a and it's fun .. same kinda idea ... you know those candles in wine bottles with different coloured wax all the way down ... crayons rock for that !

This was a round based wine bottle and I added depth too I don't have a candle in the top now I should have done that for the photo .. but I like the layers .. I. Guess I could do that too on a pumpkin ?

, My wine bottle with crayons I melted and hand dropped where I wanted thickness and colours

Neat project. Have your tried melting different color crayons in pot and drip over your project? It gives you a bit more control and a cool effect too.
