My house is beige with dark green shutters, currently the door and the porch floor match the green shutters. What contrasting color(s) should I consider?

there are many options, however in order to give you advice hometalkers need to see the color green.

Lowes carries Valspar porch and floor paint with several colors to choose from. I would look there for a contrast color in the tan/redish terra cotta color group. Its common for the shutters and door to be the same.

I would paint the floor the same tone as the beige but two shades darker. Or go to a muddy taupe for the flooring. This will make the green stand on its own. The green porch may be too heavy and is drowning out the green door and shudders.

Red would look nice and welcoming.

I would make the floor a deeper beige tone that matches the house. An Indian Red door would be a perfect contrast with the green shutters and is a warm and welcoming color any season. Or you could paint the door a lighter green color.
