How do you get your house cleaning mojo back?

I know this is a crazy question. :) Most of us spend a lot of time with the decor part of "home" but it cannot be ignored that you also have to clean it. We have had rounds and rounds of what we call "the crud" in our home. Now I'm trying to get back on track after everyone being sick. Inspire me folks! What inspires you to clean? Am I crazy...or maybe just feeling lazy? ;)

I had a co-worker who told me that they would pick a weekend for Spring or Fall cleaning. They would round up their friends and clean. Then they would move on to the next friend's house, until everyone's place was clean.

At the end, they would have a party/bbq. She said they would have fun, and that with a team it would go so much faster. It is so much easier to clean someone else's house, because you don't look at the mess everyday, so you actually see what needs to be done. You also don't have any emotional attachment to the stuff.

I thought it was a great idea.
