Magnolia and Cotton Fall Wreath

I'm so excited to share with you this fun wreath idea for decorating your home this fall. While the colors and materials I used make me think of fall, the neutral look of the wreath means it can stay up all year long. Take a look!
I purchased this macrame hoop at a craft supply store a while back (for less than $2.50) knowing I would make a wreath with it at one point, I just wasn't sure when. When I was decorating for fall I came across the hoop and decided I should just use what I had on hand at my home and see what I could create. First up I spray painted the hoop just to take away part of the metal shine. Then I got to work. Check out the result below!
First I added the magnolia leaves. These came from a local shop but you can find them in various places online or in other craft stores. I attached these, and then added some cotton bolls.
It took some digging around, but I found this old scrap of leather and it was way more than I needed for this project. You could really use any form of material, but I liked the look of the leather.
I cut a few small squares, "frayed" the edges, and rolled them. Securing them into place with floral wire.
I love the final product! It somehow feels both modern and vintage, and definitely fits my modern farmhouse feel! You'll want to check out the full post for all of the detailed steps, as well as my supply list.
