Vintage Repurposed Teacup Pumpkin

I love using things in unusual ways,
and one of my favourite items to repurpose are vintage teacups.
These colourful teacups were left over from a teacup lamp project that I did a couple of years ago.
I found a vintage baking dish in my stash and simply lined the inside with the teacups.
Like so.

I could have painted the pan ivory or copper, but this project was more organic than that.... just grabbing things the way they are and putting them together to make something else.

That's when repurposing is the most fun for me.
I wound some copper wire around a pencil to make curliques...
and I wrapped the ends around the small vintage screwdriver that I was using for the pumpkin stem.
And here it is all done in about 10 minutes. I think the copper wire finishes it off nicely. Such a quick and easy project to add a little fun into my fall decor, and because nothing was attached permanently I can easily take this apart.
