Navy End Table Makeover #octfabflippincontest

If you haven't tried a HomeRight Paint Sprayer, this project might just change your mind.
I bought these end tables as part of an entire furniture set and they'd been hanging around my garage forever just waiting for a brainstorm! They had gorgeous vintage mid-century lines and those cute little legs that were just begging to be painted.
I used my paint sprayer to prime them and to paint them with my favorite navy paint (Naval- Sherwin Williams). I use that color like butter...I put it on everything. This time I tried a semi-gloss finish which is something I hadn't yet tried with the sprayer.
The first coat came out very thin which is good unless you're a neurotically impatient person like I am. I may have panicked a little because I've never had blotchy results before.
After have a calming glass of wine and allowing the paint to dry, I sprayed the tables with a second coat. Whew! Way better and two coats is all it took which is pretty amazing with such a deep color.

Into the garage for a little gold spray paint on the legs and handles.
Two very pretty navy and gold end tables in no time at all. Well, enough time to have some wine between coats but that's just perfect. Pop by the blog for more information and to see these babies up close.
