Storage Auction Trash to Treasure

We purchased an abandoned storage unit recently (My husbands current obsession) and found some really great pieces inside. All of them were in serious need of some TLC though!
I found this pair of side tables in the unit. They have really great bones, and they were solid but they were pretty beat up.
After sanding off the top I decided I would do the piece two tone. I would stain the pretty wood tops at least, and probably paint the rest.
I used spray paint on the old hardware and aged them with dark brown creme wax.
I used my Homeright Finish Max paint sprayer and chalky finish paint to paint the rest of the tables.
But I decided to stain the drawer fronts, and paint the inside of the drawers a beautiful turquoise color to match the hardware. I really love the bright pop of color every time I open the drawers it makes me smile!
a few coats of clear polyacrylic to seal the wood
And now instead of looking like this...
they look like this! I really love how they turned out!
