Get out of your comfort zone with color!
I am not the kind of decorator that gravitates towards white. I see lovely white rooms then I remember that I have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I can only envision animal hair covering everything. However, I don't really gravitate towards color either. I live in a sea of Mason Jar Blue and Neutrals and I am very happy there. That said, I have been wanting to get out of my painted furniture shell. Here is my version of masculine and eclectic. Done in Annie Sloan Chalk Paint Napoleonic Blue with Coco accents.
