While working in the wood shop I noticed a lot of scrap wood lying around. Thinking that I did not want it to go to waste I thought up a new use for it- A Exotic Wood Cutting Board! http://adventuresincreating.blogspot.com/2012/09/scrap-tastic.html

I have made these (like in the 1990s) and I recommend keeping them well oiled on both sides and the ends to keep them looking new. Never wash with soap, just clean them with hot water right after using.
  • My son gave us one for Christmas and I love it , it looks a lot like you're, but he put little round feet on it . It's so pretty I hate to use it . Do they last and hold up will to use? Yours is very pretty love it .
