Easy Decorating Ideas for Fall Porches

It's so easy to decorate a porch for fall, even if it's just a mum and a pumpkin added to an entry step. It all works to boost your (and your visitors) enjoyment of the season - who can't help but smile at the fun beauty added from fall's glorious colors and produce?
Honestly, I don't usually do a ton of seasonal decorating outside other than flowers, but I just find fall (and Christmas) so easy and fun to decorate for using these steps (I like using unusual neutral colors, but of course use the colors that you love!). Then all that's left is to enjoy it!
I find all it takes is a couple of quick, easy decorating ideas when I want to decorate our porch and then it comes together in just a few minutes.
1. Use what you have. I just add to what I already have on our porch – no way would I ever bring all new items to our porch every season.
2. Add natural elements. How easy is it just to set out different sized pumpkins on stairs, benches and planters?
3. Pull from inside your house. I’ve had this square twig wreath for years – I raided my office bulletin board for the “B” monogram and stuck a few hydrangeas in the bottom for this quick 5 minute wreath.
4. Move things around. This is my favorite part of the porch this season: we moved the Adirondack chairs from the backyard to this area of our porch and it makes a perfect new sitting area.

Seasonal decorating doesn’t need to be complicated, right? Use whatever makes you happy when you see it! You can see more of our porch and easy seasonal decorating ideas at the url below:
