Start saving those spaghetti sauce, salsa and small spice jars, they make perfect snow globes for winter and Christmas.

I've always loved snow globes and it's so easy to make your own out of things you probably have at home.

Here are the basic supplies: Jars, white spray paint, faux snow (the spray on kind) and vinyl. If you don't have any vinyl handy, you could also use contact paper.
You'll also need some oval templates and scissors as well as Mod Podge and glitter, Finally have some mini figures and/or trees on hand as well as glue dots and faux snow (not the spray kind).

Step 1: Make sure your jars are free of all labels, clean and dry.

Step 2: Trace oval shapes on the backside of the vinyl or contact paper and cut out. Place vinyl on jars.
