What are you trying to organize?

If you are organizing the closet, I have found the closet organizers that include the drawer units to be great. I also like shoe racks. So it depends on what you are trying to organize.
  • One of the best things you can do is leave electronics out of a bedroom. but if you have to have a tv in the room, then put it in a cabinet or cover it at night. Do not have clutter in the bedroom and keep the nightstands clean and free of clutter. Use a pretty dish for change and items that come out of your pocket and even have a nightstand that has drawers to put your books, electronics, and other stuff away and out of sight. As Regina stated, organizing your closet is a great way to start too. I put in wood organizers with drawers and boy do I love it. Do not keep clothes or other items that you have not worn in 6months to a year or that you never really liked but bought anyway. Start by getting rid of the stuff you really do not like, want, or need. I do not know how much space you have so giving more detailed advice is a bit hard. pics would help, dimensions of the room, list of furniture would help. good luck

I love to cover one wall with shallow bookcases almost to the ceiling. So easy to fill with DVDs, Books, square or rectangular wire, straw or fabric baskets for storing whatever. Good place to display memorabilia, awards, pictures in small frames. Small TV if needed. This idea is great for Mama or Daddy who moves into assisted living or nursing home room. Memories and items of interest right there by their side.

I BUILT MY OWN BEAUTIFUL HEADBOARD, VERY ORIGINAL, LOOKS GREAT-EVERYONE STEALS THIS IDEA.... I PAINTED THE WHOLE ROOM COOLATE BROWN, PUT WIDE FANCY WHITE MOULDING MID WAY AROUND THE ROOM AND AT CEILING. I LEFT A HUGE SQUARE IN THE CENTRE OF THE ROOM, THEN I PURCHASED ENOUGH FANCY WIDE WHITE MOULDING, AND PUT IT AROUND THE OUTSIDE OF THE WHITE SQUARE, ONE FOOT DOWN I INSTALLED A THINNER WHITE MOULDING, I INSTALLED A ZEBRA STRIPED WALLPAPER (PEEL AND STICK) BETWEEN THE 2 MOULDINGS, LEAVING THE REST OF THE WHITE SQUARE, WHITE, WITH A SMALL SOFT COLOUR BROWN AND WHITE PAINTING ON IT, I INSTALLED AN IKEA NARROW CABINET ON EACH SIDE OF THE "HEADBOARD' PAINTED THE SAME DARK BROWN, UN NOTICEABLE, THEY HOLD A LOT OF STORAGE, THIS "HEADBOARD" LOOKS CUSTOM MADE AND IN A SENSE IT IS, BUT HAS NO FOOTPRINT, TAKES NO FLOOR SPACE AND DOES NOT WOBBLE, ALL BONUSES. YOU COULD PAINT A DIFFERENT COLOUR BETWEEN THE 2 MOULDINGS OR DO WHATEVER YOU WANT THERE,,,,, A SPRAY OF THOSE LITTLE BUTTERFLIES FLITTING ACROSS WD BE NICE TOO...IMAGINATION IS A GREAT TOOL.
