Buddha beer bottles

We love Buddha beer and buy a 6 pack every time we visit the Chinese market in our hometown. These green bottles are great and while I have a hard time throwing them out, I have a harder time coming up with unique craft ideas that I'm sure exist. Other than making a bottle tree (which I'm not very fond of), I have no idea how else to use these wonderful bottles. I'd love to hear some ideas from all of you creative geniuses out there! What would you do?

@Janet Pizaro You're welcome. Okay, so I just did a ''repurposed buddha beer bottles" search in Pinterest, and it gave me the same link you had, so it is NOT anything you did. If you are using a PC or laptop and you are just highlighting the info in the URL bar, copying and pasting try the following instead:1-Just move the mouse to the bar, don't highlight and right click on your mouse.2- Click on copy.3- Then immediately (depending on your browser), pick the option UNDER paste which will say something like: paste and go, or paste and run or paste URL and open...3- It will copy AND open the link you just copied. When I did that with the same link you provided from my Pinterest search, it told me right away that the page could not be found...it will save you a couple of steps, and you will get an accurate answer right away.

I used to have them on shelves in my apartment in LA and I would put long white tapers candle sticks in them. The dripping wax looked perfect after burning!

I use one as a dish soap bottle, just put a pour spout on top, works great!

U could buy solar light string & put 1 in each bottle making budda one the front one and use around your flower garden. Some strings are long and u could put 2 or 3 lights in. It depends how big garden is. Think this would be lovely, and show off plants or put around patio. My strings are 100' L.

@Nancy Palombi Very cool bottles, I'd have a hard time tossing them too! I'll have to think about it...... Maybe cut the top or the bottom might be the easier way to go, & put a candles inside of them..... Hi Nancy if do you like do some handmade paint, you can use this idea, buy the 3 basics color [red, yellow and blue] black and white one, for cristal and/or for ceramic paint, pincel and can start mixing colors, for to do the color one that you want and start painting the color of face, arms and feet and then the cloth, etc. will be much fun doing. I can send to you the mixing color via email if you want it is in spanish, but I place the color to mix and the resulting color, including the amount numerically, my email it is draparedes46@gmail.com

This is the buddha of luck; the one with his arms up. Its suppose to bring the owner luck. Put a fancy plate under and candle in and glue a few coins in plate and plastic or wax fruit as an offering to Buddha God to make it look authentic. What a neat conversation piece !

Chalk paint? You could use different colors of chalk to bring out the details after you paint them. You could paint them in different colors.

Hi, we have the same bottles. Love the shape, everyone always comments on them. We use ours as a support for a wood slice center piece we made a while ago. http://www.hometalk.com/diy/craft/centerpieces/make-a-centerpiece-from-a-slice-of-wood-and-some-bottles-13546042

Make Table Lamps - Use on BBQ table with Candles or Flowers. Use as legs for a stand. Drill through them and insert metal pin. Thread one on top of the other and you then have very unusual Legs for a table! Skewer them and make a totem pole. Cut of the tops and make unusual glasses or Vases..
