looks like a mandevilla vine, except for the leaves, hmmm. davesgarden.com has the biggest database of plants in the world. might want to check there. Mandevilla has glossy green leaves.

It looks like an amaryllis to me. The large leaves beside it look like Canna lilies.

Definitely looks like an Amaryllis, we have one we grow inside, we live in the Northeast so it would not work outside for us. Ours this year was over 3' tall.
