A Clean Sink's Friend

$2.98
15 Minutes
Easy

We have a 1980s porcelain harvest gold kitchen sink. Don't be jealous! LOL! It's been scratched and stained since we moved in, but not anymore! I found a new product that is my sink's new best friend. Bar Keepers Friend. It's not a home recipe like I normally feature on our blog but it will be a part of my cleaning solutions from now on. Visit our blog to see how I made it like new again!
Before: It was scratched and stained and ugly!
After: Bright and shiny, scratch and stain free!

Squirt a good amount of the bar keepers friend into the sink and use a Scotch Brite green and yellow sponge scrubber to scrub away all the yuck! It took very little effort to reach the end result.

This is what the sink looked like after I rinsed all the scratches and stains down the drain! Tah-Dah!

There is another product on the market exactly like Bar Keepers Friend. Some grocery stores carry it but I buy it on Amazon. It also cleans stainless steel pots and sinks beautifully. The name of the product is CAMEO and they also have a copper cleaner that cleans all kinds of metal. A lot cheaper than BKF. Have used it for years and is an excellent product.

@M. How Thanks! That has been around for years and I remember my Mamaw using it on her Revereware.

Bon Ami is another non-scratching scouring powder, great for sinks and tubs.
