FRENCH INSPIRED BOX MAKEOVER
I love to upcycle things that most people would not look twice at.. My hubby brought me this box as he knew I would restore it and make something beautiful with it. It was so damaged but it still had plenty of life left in it..
The box was old, chipped and dirty. First thing I did was I cleaned it thoroughly
I then discovered that the box was damaged with woodworm, the little holes were everywhere. After checking there was no woodworm left, I patched all the holes using wood filler.
Sanded over and painted it.
I decided to use a trasnsfer for my box to get that vintage/french feel.
I added some new rope and voila!
