Salvaged Treadle Sewing Machines

My husband and I love old treadle sewing machines, with cast iron bases.
This cast iron is from a White treadle sewing machine product.
We also found a pre. 1930's trunk, which I have to say was in pretty good shape for its age. My husband mounted it to the top and it became a unique accent table.
This is the side view. We spray painted the "White" in gold.

I love the squat bases on the Whites. Here is one I made over. The cabinet needed a little help and I removed the mechanism that raises the sewing machine and pulls the cabinet front away from the knees for sewing as I sold it without the machine. Painted it in ASCP French Linen with a Duck Egg interior and then some wax over it. Mine went to a beauty salon to be used as a nail bar for the finger nail technicians. I love what you did with yours!
