Easy DIY Moss-Covered Pumpkin Placecard

I don't set a super formal table for Thanksgiving, so placecards may seem out of, well.... place. But, I love how it adds a personalized element to each placesetting, and lets each guest know I was thinking of them.
I started out with clearance plastic pumpkins from Hobby Lobby.
Using my low-temp glue gun, I covered it with moss.
Now I will admit. The pumpkin lost some of its overall shape, but I still loved the look. I did give the moss a small "haircut" to tone down the strays.
I added a ready-made mini tag with two lengths of ribbons, a check and a brown, which coordinates with the dishes I am using this year.
Finally, I placed it on a mini paper mache pot (also from Hobby Lobby.) You could choose to sit yours right on the table.
I made a dozen of these in about an hour.
