Christmas Elf on a Shelf

Make this cute Christmas Elf on a shelf. He can be made with old t-shirts and his body is filled with lentils. This means he is quite heavy so can be used as a Christmas door stop.
What you need

Old t-shirts or Jersey Material

Green felt, big buttons

Fibre stuffing and lentils or beans for the body. Needle and thread

Pattern - Can be downloaded form my blog for free http://www.pillarboxblue.com/christmas-elf-on-the-shelf-tutorial/

First make the head and ears and stuff with fibre. Sew the giant buttons on for eyes and make a felt hat.
Next make the body of the Elf and stuff with lentils or beans.
Attach the body to the head making a felt Elf collar. Full detailed instructions are on the blog.
Your Elf is now finished and looks so cute on the mantle.
He also has some buddies I made earlier from my old stripy t-shirts, I just need to make some Elf ears for them for Christmas.
