I was trying to think up a way to create some cute prints for some frames I had and wanted to create something cute and fun so I decided to do some Bubble Art.
Do you remember when you where a kid and your parents put out a bowl or small bucket of soapy water and gave you a star and you just went to town blowing into the water to create as many bubbles as possible? Well this is kind of the same thing but a little more precise.

I know... How is this going to make pretty wall art? Well let me explain. So I love the texture and look of how the coloured bubbles look on white paper and I though well why not then use this beautiful print and make some nice shapes and frame them.
You can make all sots of things, Birthday cards, wall art for kids rooms, whatever you like. This is a great activity for older kids to do on a rainy day. Just make sure the child wont inhale as I can't imagine it would taste very good!

I think your effect was quite stunning. I think I'm missing a step tho. do you blow the bubble/color mix into bubbles & then catch one of the bubbles with the straw & then place it on the paper? if not, how do you transfer them from bowl to paper? tia

You say you use "bubble mix' do you mean children' bubble blowing soap that comes with a wand?
Does acrylic paint weigh the bubbles down?
Does the fact that it's soap make it rub off?
Have you tried glycerine?
I'll experiment, but curious about your results.
