Repurposed Bed Spring Christmas Bells

I love shopping at flea markets, garage sales, and thrift stores. You never know what type of treasures you'll find. I went on a hunt not too long ago to find some things I could easily repurpose.
Old Rusty Bed Springs
I found these rusty old bed springs at a flea market (Long Beach Antique Swap Meet) for $1 each. I decided to make them into Christmas bells for the holidays.

Materials:

1) 2 Bed Springs

2) 2 Bells

3) Pliers

4) Twine

5) Ribbon

5) Scissors

6) Other embellishments
I found an ornament on sale at Michael's and took it apart with some pliers. I hung each bell with twine and tied the two "bells" together. I reused the pine, berries, and mini pine cone from the ornament as embellishment for the top of the bell.
Repurposed Christmas Bells
With a little bit of decorating, you get rustic chic Christmas bells! The best part is that it only cost me about $6.00!
