Happy Fall Y'all Pallet Project for Your Front Steps

I did it. I made another fall pallet. I couldn't help myself. I know I've already made 2 other fall pallets lately (you can find them on www.themagicbrushinc.com), but I was itching to make a CANDY CORN inspired pallet for the pallet painting party I was hosting! I want to tell you how I did it!

First, I painted the pallet in a black. I had some black wall paint at home and I covered it 100%. It uses a lot of paint, so I didn't use my good stuff!

I did however sit on the paint can lid and nothing says DIY like a good moment. The sweatpants are ruined, the but pallet was worth it!

Then, I made a candy corn banner which is the quickest, easiest project ever. I have a video on my Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/themagicbrushinc/videos/vb.169989218746/10154406499478747/?type=2&theater . If you copy and paste that link you can watch how I quickly painted it.

Seriously, is that not the cutest????? You could totally hang this banner on your fireplace also because...... until Thanksgiving is past.... anything CANDY CORN WORKS!

Next, I ordered a custom stencil from The Mad Stencilist. You can order it by going to http://madstencilist.com/saywhat/allwood.htm . If you are someone who tries to buy the alphabet and lay out the words letter by letter... we can't be friends because that sounds like some sort of torture exercise to me. Stencils make the world go round. Just order one. You'll thank me for it later.

To stencil both the candy corn banner and the letters.... I used Heirloom Traditions Sundance , Shirley's Pumpkin and French Vanilla colors. All those paints are available on my website at www.themagicbrushinc.com/shop

And my last fall pallet (I pinkie swear this time) is done!

If my calculations are correct, this pallet will be on my front steps approximately 17.3 more days until Christmas takes over EVERYTHING at my house.

Until then, happy fall y'all.

xoxo,

Jennifer
