Tired Ornament Tree Gets Updated Junk Style!

A tired ornament tree that never look good with ornaments or Christmas card gets a vintage junky style update. I've tried over the years to decorate this wire tree with ornaments, but it looked goofy. Then one year I tried clipping holiday cards...it looked cluttered. Thankfully I didn't get rid of it, because now it's my favorite thing in the house!!
2015
The tired wire ornament tree. I clipped off the wire bracket with wire cutters.
Now I have the star base, the stem and the metal ribbon topper. Next I gathered old vintage broken spindles by size. Bella was helping!
I drilled a small pilot hole in the middle of each spindle. The small hole gives a place for the tip of a 1/4 inch to start without sliding off the round spindle.
Stacking the spindle onto the stem by size.
Adding the ribbon topper and I'm done decorating this tree! Took only 45 mins! No cost because I used things I had.
